If you like to have a drink from time to time, keep your money at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your handbag, your wallet, and keep all cash, plastic credit and checks out of the casino. Only take whatever cash you intend to use on beverages, tips and few dollars you anticipate to burn and leave the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not at all. Realistic more like. You might have a win following a boozy evening out with your compatriots and be lucky enough to catch a long roll at a smokin craps table. Don’t forget that story seeing that it’s as brief as it gets if you regularly drink alcohol and gamble. The two simply don’t mix.
Leaving your moola at home is a little drastic, but defensive measures for excessive behavior is necessary. If you bet to win, then don’t drink and gamble. If you like to be wasteful with your money without a worry, then drink all the gratuitous booze you are able to handle, but do not take credit cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your befuddled self squanders all the cash!
Let me to take this one step further. Don’t drink and then head on the internet to wager in your preferred online casino either. I enjoy a drink from the coziness of my condominium, however since I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards at my fingertips, I can not drink and wager.
How come? Although I don’t drink to excess, when I drink, it’s definitely adequate to blur my better judgment. I wager, so I don’t drink alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don’t wager at the same time. The two mix up for an awful, and crazy, cocktail.
